Visit to Schools in Ireland to help with Positive Handling Issues
who asked for our help with specific issues they are facing with special-needs pupils in mainstream settings. Although historically there has been little guidance from the Dept for Education and Skills on these issues, schools really do need good advice and guidance on what to do when pupils are becoming difficult to manage, distressed because their needs are not a met or even behaving dangerously to themselves or others around them
